Eunice Lillian Woolliscroft


Age 92 Passed away at her residence on December 15, 2009. She was born in Osakis, Minnesota on October 28, 1917, the daughter of Selmer and Esther Woolliscroft. Following graduation from Alexandria High School in 1937 she worked as a beautician in Brandon, MN. In 1940 she hitched a ride to Los Angeles where she worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber during the war. She moved to Seattle in 1946 and worked as a dental technician in the Marine Hospital which became the US Public Health Hospital in 1951. Upon returning to St. Paul she was employed at 3M for 25 years until her retirement in 1981. Eunice, a faithful Christian, was a long time member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed travel and her circle of friends at Lyngblomsten Apartments. She was preceded in death by her brothers Winfred and Oscar and a sister Annette. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Dawn Woolliscroft (New Orleans, LA), Florence Woolliscroft (Ann Arbor, MI), nieces Ava Betz (Goodland, KS), Kittie Woolliscroft (LaGrange, GA), Veronica Taylor (New Orleans, LA), nephews James Woolliscroft (Saline, MI), Tom Woolliscroft (Atlanta, GA), and her special cousin Cindy Trefethren and family (Shoreview, MN). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 420 Roy St. N. St. Paul, MN on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1:30 PM.
