He joined in July 1917,, and in the following November was drafted to France, where he took part in numerous engagements. He was in action at Cambrai, the Somme, the Marne Amiens, and Bapaume, and was wounded at Cambrai on October 5th, 1918. In March 1919, he returned to England and was dis charged as medically unfit holding the General Service and Victory Medals.

14479 WOOLISCROFT DIES ON TUESDAY At the home of his son, Arthur Wooliscroft, 143 Vine street, last of Edward James Wooliscroft after an extended illness which dates back 17 months. Mr. Wooliscroft was about 86 years of age, having been born on February 23, 1848 in England. He was a mlllworker all his life until his health failed, and had been a resident of Canonsburg 16 years. He is survived by three sons, Edward Wooliscroft of Canton, O.: Frank and Arthur Wooliscroft of Canonsburg. His wife died 12 years ago.' Funeral services will be held at the late home Friday afternoon at 2:30 In charge of William Carter of Parnassus, Pa. Interment in Oak Soring cemetery. 14480 WOOLISCROFT Gerald Peacefully on June 22nd 2015 at the RSUH, Gerald aged 82 years of Bentilee. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Carrie, much loved dad of Linda, Peter and the late Christine, loved father-in-law of Chris and Geoff, a loving and very special grandad to Neil, Kate and Nick.
